CPGA AT A GLANCE
Certified Privacy Governance Associate (CPGA) is a foundational privacy competency credential being developed by the Data Privacy Council (DPCI). It connects privacy principles, India’s DPDP framework, organisational accountability and foundational implementation judgement.
FROM UNDERSTANDING TO CONTRIBUTION
Privacy work begins long before a policy is signed. It starts with understanding what data is used, who is responsible and how a decision can be explained.
CPGA is being developed for professionals who need a clear grounding in privacy governance. It connects foundational knowledge with practical judgement: recognising responsibilities, asking useful questions and knowing when to escalate.
