ASSESSMENT & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

Knowledge matters.
So does judgement.

CPGA’s proposed assessment approach is intended to explore what learners understand and how they reason through foundational privacy governance scenarios.

Proposed arrangements. Examination format, question count, duration, pass criteria, fees and dates are not finalised.

A PROPOSED PATHWAY

Learning and certification
have distinct roles.

Completing training can support preparation. It does not automatically result in a professional credential.

  1. 01

    Build your foundation

Prepare against the published syllabus when available. Use learning activities to connect terminology, responsibilities and organisational context.

  2. 02

    Demonstrate knowledge & judgement

The proposed assessment considers foundational knowledge and decisions in privacy governance scenarios. Final examination specifications remain under development.

  3. 03

    A separate certification decision

Award of CPGA will depend on meeting the final published assessment and credential requirements, independently of course attendance.

AFTER THE CREDENTIAL

Professional learning
continues.

Ethics, continuing professional development and renewal arrangements are being developed. No specific renewal cycle, credit requirement or renewal fee has been announced.

CPGA does not authorise legal practice, certify an organisation’s compliance or automatically qualify someone as an independent auditor. It does not guarantee employment.
